The mission of the Boyd Tavern Foundation is to contribute to the culture and historic environment of Southside Virginia through the restoration, maintenance, and preservation of the Boyd Tavern as a historic landmark and museum. The Boyd Tavern was built in the 18th century and has served as a hub for social and political activity in Boydton for over 200 years. Our goal is to keep the legacy of this important landmark alive for generations to come.
